This REMO drum comes with a one-of-a-kind Not-So-Loud (NSL) head. This produces a muted tone in comparison to the REMO Skyndeep® heads. NSL is a design that uses a standard drumhead with added damping materials or a specially designed mallet (called "NSL mallet") to significantly reduce the volume produced when struck, typically featuring a soft, spongy foam covered with durable fabric on the mallet head. These are primarily used for quiet practice situations where a lower volume is desired.

Additional features of the Remo Versa set of three Tubanos include:

• Attached carrying handle
• Molded feet to provide comfort while playing from a sitting position, as well as balance to prevent unwanted tilting
• Designed be nested together for easy transport and storage
• Drum heads are easily removed with the included tool
• Drum heads can be played as frame drums.

With this set of three Versa Tubanos, you will get clear high, medium and low tones, giving the option to play drum ensembles if desired.
