The Suzuki Bass wood drum is a unique and attractive bass percussion instrument of wooden construction. The tone can be adjusted by opening or closing the front apertures.

You can slide the lid on front of the box to change the size of the sound hole. If the lid is completely closed, a high sound will be made, and if it is open, low sound will be made.
It is possible to hit the strike face by hand. For a different tone, tap on the entire palm and by the ball of the fingers. You can play rhythms with multiple people at once using the large squared strike face. The direction of the sound is changed by attaching the supplied skew board.
