Whistles and kazoos for sound effects, storytelling and early years music.

Bird calls include the GMP owl whistle in four sizes, a bamboo loon whistle and a bamboo bird slide whistle. These produce a recognisable call rather than a pitch, and they are used to score a story, illustrate a habitat unit, or add an effect to a performance.

Slide whistles have a plunger that changes the pitch as it moves, giving the swooping sound that children reach for immediately. Both a moulded EMUS model and a bamboo version are stocked.

The TROPHY train whistle is wooden and multi-chambered, producing a chord rather than a single note.

Kazoos are stocked in metal and plastic. A kazoo works by humming rather than blowing, so a student who cannot yet produce a note on a wind instrument can still take a melody line.
