The Tubolo is a tube-shaped drum built with a patented bass port system that enhances low-end projection, even when the drum sits flat on the floor. With a vinyl Napa head, it delivers a warm conga-style tone. With a Fibreskin head, it produces a more focused djembe-style sound.

Lug-tuned models allow head changes in approximately 10 to 15 minutes and can be tuned to a specific pitch, offering a tuning range of roughly three to four scale notes. The wide base provides stability during hand or mallet playing, and all models stand 24 inches tall for a comfortable seated playing position.

Suitable for schools, therapy programs, hospitals, seniors programs, and ensemble settings. When used as a set, Tubolos function well as a conga-style group and respond clearly when amplified with microphones.
