Boomwhackers sound best when their cross-section is basically round, as opposed to oval or flattened out. They may be "out-of-round" when you receive them or through playing or storage. Simply smooth the tube (apply pressure along the length of the tube) with your hands until it becomes basically round again. Introductory Boomwhacker set has everything you need to start "whacking"!
