Empire Music is the exclusive Canadian distributor for SUZUKI Orff instruments. That range covers xylophones, metallophones and glockenspiels in soprano, alto and bass, in wood and fibreglass, diatonic and chromatic, along with chromatic add-ons that extend a diatonic instrument to a full chromatic range without replacing it.

The add-ons matter, and so does knowing which one you need. SUZUKI changed its instrument fittings at one point, so current and older models take different add-ons. Both are stocked, and the model number on the instrument is what decides it.

SUZUKI recorders come in Baroque and German fingering, and include the Precorder, which uses a simplified fingering layout for pre-school and early primary hands.

Beyond those: ToneChimes, the Omnichord OM-108 with its accessories, the Shinobue Japanese bamboo flute in three keys, ChoirHorns as an eight-note octave set, temple blocks, triangles, tambourines, hand drums, castanets, mallets and the BARcussion range, which mounts single instruments on a key base so they can be played one-handed from a table.

Replacement bars, bar nails and repair parts are stocked for the Orff range.
