NINO percussion, built for early years and elementary classrooms.

NINO is designed around small hands and short attention spans, and the design choices are consistent across the range. Instruments are light, edges are rounded, colours are strong enough to sort and assign by, and volume is pitched so a full group is loud without being painful.

Shakers are the core of it. Egg shakers come as singles in eight colours, in a dozen, in a four-pack and in an eighty-piece assortment. Fruit and vegetable shaker sets give a nameable shape to ask for. Wooden cylinder shakers, mini cajon shakers, a salt and pepper pair, a school bus shaker and small rawhide maracas fill out the range, along with handle egg maracas in four colours and a set of forty-eight.

Hand drums come in blue, green, red, yellow and pink across four sizes, plus a ten inch model with a handle on the back and a set of four with a bag. Djembes, bongos, a bongo cajon and ocean drums are all scaled down.

Tambourines come headed and headless in eight and ten inch in a choice of colours, along with a racket tambourine, claves, wood blocks, guiros, a mini guiro, triangles, sleigh bells and bell sticks.

Ready-made rhythm sets come in eight and fifteen piece versions, the larger one also in a wooden box, and the Shake N' Play memory game turns a set of shakers into a listening activity.
