Bear Paw Creek makes movement props for music education, therapy and group work.

These are the tools for the part of a session where nobody is holding an instrument. Movement, coordination and group play still need something in the hands, and a scarf or a stretchy band does what an instrument cannot.

Movement scarves are light chiffon squares that float rather than fall, so a child can throw one and still catch it, and the slow descent gives a musical phrase a visible length. They come in sets of six, packs of thirteen and add-on sets of twelve.

Streamers come on a hoop handle or a wrist scrunchie, in ribbon and chiffon, in primary and rainbow colours. The wrist version stays attached to a child who cannot reliably grip something, which is often the deciding factor.

Stretchy bands are closed loops a whole group holds and pulls against, in five sizes. Connect-A-Bands join through buckle hubs in six, eight and twelve buckle versions, so a circle is built to fit the group rather than the group fitting the prop.
