Collection: Xylophones Alto

Alto xylophones from SUZUKI and EMUS, sitting in the middle of the Orff range between the soprano and bass instruments. This is the range most programs buy first, because it sits in a comfortable singing register for elementary students and works on its own before a full ensemble is built.

All models here are diatonic 16-bar instruments in C major with F♯ and B♭ bars included. Wooden models use rosewood or padauk bars. Fibreglass models come in natural brown, white and rainbow, with a different colour on each bar.

A chromatic add-on is available for the SUZUKI alto xylophone in both current and older model fittings. Individual replacement bars and alto-weight mallets are stocked separately.
