GMP Mahogany Bird Percussion Shaker - SHAK-BIRD

The GMP Bird Percussion Shaker creates a pleasant "chirping" or waterfall sound effect when played.

To play, hold the cord loop and shake or sway the strand so the carved pods click and roll against each other. A gentle motion produces soft, bird-like chirps. A sharper movement creates fuller, more rhythmic clatter. 

The instrument suits percussionists, educators, sound designers, and ensemble directors who need an expressive texture that cuts through softly but clearly.
