B-stock Orff instruments from SUZUKI and EMUS, at a reduced price.
These are instruments that are new but not pristine. Each one has either been unboxed and put on display, used once and returned, picked up a small cosmetic mark such as a discolouration or a scratch that does not affect how it sounds, or needed a minor repair or a replacement part before it went back on the shelf.
Every unit is hand-picked and inspected, and it plays exactly as a full-price instrument does. Bars are in tune, resonator boxes are sound, and the instrument is complete.
The range here covers xylophones, metallophones and glockenspiels in soprano, alto and bass, in wood and fibreglass including white and rainbow bars, along with contrabass and sub-contrabass bars.
For a program building a set on a fixed allocation, this is where the same instrument arrives with a mark on the frame rather than without one.
