Collection: Drumsticks/Brushes

13 products

Drum sticks and brushes for classrooms, drumlines and percussion sections.

GMP maple sticks come in 5A and 5B, sold as a single pair or as a block of twelve pairs. The twelve-pair packs are what most schools order, because sticks vanish and replacing them one pair at a time costs more time than it saves.

The Vic Firth range covers 2B, 5A, 5AN, 5B, 5BN and 7A. The number is the weight, running from the light 7A up to the heavy 2B, and the N marks a nylon tip, which gives a brighter, more defined sound than wood on anything metal.

Brushes give a quieter, sweeping attack instead of a strike. GMP adjustable wire brushes retract into the handle, and EMUS wire brushes are the simpler fixed version.

Also here: GMP earth sticks, which are bundled rods sitting between a stick and a brush in weight, stocked singly and as a seven-prong pair, and a ten inch pandeiro batter for Brazilian frame drums.
