Chimes for classrooms, ensembles and wellness settings, covering three different instruments that share a name.

Bar chimes, sometimes called wind chimes or mark trees, are rows of tuned metal bars struck with a finger or a stick to produce a shimmering sweep. TreeWorks models here run from a 9-bar table-top version through a 35-bar single row to the MultiTree, which stacks several rows for a denser sound. These are used for transitions, atmosphere and effect rather than melody.

Energy chimes are a single tuned bar on a handle with its own striker, from GMP and NINO, including a three-tone model. The clear sustaining tone carries across a noisy room without anyone raising their voice, which is why they are used to signal transitions in classrooms and to open and close sessions in therapy and mindfulness work.

Hand chimes are tuned tubes with clappers, played one note per person. The EMUS 8-note junior set is sized for smaller hands.
