Collection: Tenor Recorders

Tenor recorders from AULOS and EMUS, pitched an octave below the soprano and reading from the same fingerings, which makes the switch from soprano straightforward.

The tenor is a long instrument and the finger stretch is real, so it usually goes to older students or adults rather than to a primary class. In a recorder consort it takes the inner voice between alto and bass and gives the group its body.

All three models here use Baroque or English fingering. Tenor cleaning rods and thumb rests are a different size again from soprano and alto, and are stocked separately.
