Collection: Tonechimes

9 products

SUZUKI ToneChimes and EMUS junior hand chimes, for school handchime ensembles, choirs and general music programs.

A tonechime is a tuned aluminum tube with a clapper, held in the hand and rung. Each player takes one or two notes, which means a group produces a full melody and harmony together with nobody needing to read more than their own line. It is one of the fastest ways to get a class playing ensemble music.

Sets here start at 10 notes diatonic, move to 16 notes diatonic, and top out at the 25-note chromatic set. Two 12-note chromatic add-on sets and a 7-note bass add-on set extend an existing set rather than replacing it, so a program can grow year by year.

Single replacement chimes are available for sets that have lost or damaged one, along with a replacement case for the 25-note set and a tone chime wrap.

EMUS junior hand chimes come as an 8-note set sized for smaller hands, which suits early years and primary classrooms.
