Collection: Percussion Chimes

3 products

TreeWorks bar chimes, also called mark trees or wind chimes, made in the United States.

A row of tuned metal bars hangs from a bar and is swept with a finger or a stick to produce a shimmering cascade. The effect is used to mark an entrance, colour a held chord, or fill a transition, and it appears everywhere from concert percussion sections to recording studios.

Three models are stocked. The 9-bar table-top version sits on a desk or drum table and suits smaller rooms and classrooms. The 35-bar single row gives a long, full sweep. The MultiTree stacks several rows so a single pass produces a denser, longer wash of sound.
