The AULOS E302 3-piece German-fingering soprano recorder is made in Japan from tough ABS plastic, and it is our most popular recorder. It plays in the key of C and uses German fingering, which makes the note F easier for beginners to play. If your music program teaches English/Baroque fingering, choose the AULOS E303 instead. You can tell the two apart by the holes on the body: on a German recorder, the large hole sits above the small one.
The three pieces fit together with secure joints that keep the recorder aligned while students play. The removable thumb rest helps young players hold the recorder in the correct position. It is finished in ivory and measures 13" long.
Includes a cloth bag, a cleaning rod and a fingering chart.
