A professional music teacher since 1973, he has taught extensively in both public and private schools around the world in addition to teaching one-on-one lessons. He picked up a ukulele in 2007 and began earnestly studying the instrument under James Hill in the James Hill Ukulele Iniative in Vancouver, Canada. His appreciateion for the ukulele is grounded in his overall fondness of all fretted and stringed instruments. This book is evidence of Kevin's lifelong love of music.
