SUZUKI Mallet, felt covered soft rubber - SM47

This mallet has a felt cover over a soft rubber core and is sold singly. The combination puts weight behind the strike while a soft surface meets the instrument, which suits hand drums, gongs and REMO drums where a hard head would ring harshly or mark the surface.
