These yarn-covered mallets are made for soprano Orff instruments and are sold as a pair. The winding is medium-hard, which keeps the attack clear on the short soprano bars without the brightness of a bare rubber head.
EMUS makes a mallet for each voice: this one for soprano, EAM for alto, EBM for bass.
